What to Expect

We are so glad you've decided to visit with us! To help you feel as comfortable as possible, we want to provide you with information about what you can expect from your morning. When you're at MorningStar, you're home. Come on in, just as you are. We don't have a dress code - God cares about your heart, not what you wear - so be comfortable. You'll be met by friendly folks who are glad to see you, and our family-style Connection Cafe will be stocked with freshly brewed coffee and pastries when you arrive. Stop by our Information Central on your way in to meet a member of our Connection Team. They'll help you with everything you need to enjoy a great morning, and can help you get connected at MorningStar Church. Our services are about 75 minutes, beginning with live music followed by teaching from the Bible that will apply directly to your life.   


Before you step through our doors, we're praying for you and our morning together. We can't wait to see you!

FAQs

What time should I arrive? 

Our doors open at 9:40 for our 10am service. We encourage you to arrive 15-20 minutes early to allot for parking, meet some friends, check in your kids, grab some coffee, and find a good seat. We assure you, you won't want to miss a moment once service begins! 


What about my kids? 

Our MStar Kids program offers fun, safe environments tailor-made for your young kids, and we hope that it's the best time of their week! We have classes available for children from birth through 5th grade, and a private Mother's Room for moms who need to tend to their little ones. We also have changing tables available in both the men's and women's restrooms in the lobby, for your convenience. 


...and for my older kids? 

For middle and high school students, we offer a Wednesday evening experience with our Encounter Youth. 


What do you believe about the Bible? 

We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible, living Word of God - that it applies to our lives today as much as it did when it was written. Learn more about what we believe. 


Do you have any affiliations? 

MorningStar Church is a non-denominational, Bible-based church. We are fully funded by our congregants and are not affiliated with any church-plant organizations or governing bodies. We are led by our founding Pastor, Tony Byrd, and a Board of Elders.

For Sunday services, use our main lobby entrance, located under the portico on the East side of the building. We encourage guests to park in the spaces in front of the portico and just to the side along Linebaugh. Administrative offices are located on the north side of the building, along Linebaugh.
